In this episode of Mastering Monday, I teach you how to play The Gratitude Game in order to feel better in the moment as well as in the longterm.
The Gratitude Game is a very simple activity and something I learned from studying the law of attraction (I think from Abraham/Esther Hicks), BUT you don’t have to be into LOA to get results from it. (TBH, my personal opinion on LOA as a whole is rather negative, which is why I don’t work with it anymore.)
In fact, The Gratitude Game is just one of many ways to “reframe” things without having to go to the effort to do in-depth trance-work or speak with a conversational hypnotherapist.
The reason you’d want to play The Gratitude Game is because it usually makes you feel better pretty quickly by altering your focus to the things you appreciate or at least hate less than everything else. As I mention in the video, I started using it at a job I hated a lot.
Doing this longterm can help your mind to refocus on the things that you like rather than things that you don’t like. This is important because one needs to practice things like this to shift the balance of their mind in the longterm (c.f. We don’t rise to the level of our expectations, we fall to the level of our training”).
If you’re able to see the value in it or just want to see what I’m talking about, then watch the video below:
